Lake Yamanaka International Music Festival 2012 Fri, 21th - Sun, 23th September
Lake Yamanaka International Music Festival has received good reputations
as "homey festival with high quality music" since its start in
2007.
Upon the next festival in September 2012, 9 artists from Asia and Europe
appear on stage to express musical dialogue and fusion between the East
and the West through variety of music. Under the professional / charming
leadership of worldly famous "Piano Duo Kutrowatz" brothers,
other outstanding artists of their selection gather in Yamanakako to take
you to the brand-new world of music. In our festival, what is more, you
can enjoy talking with the friendly artists in a relaxed mood after each
evening concert.
Nippon Seinenkan (Foundation for Japan Youth Center) has contributed to
the society as a temple of music since its establishment in 1921. In recent
years, we have accomplished various music projects, such as encouraging
Japanese highschool orchestra activities, and operating concert tours of
professional artists to deliver top-class music to local towns and cities
around the country. We will hold this annual festival as one of our main
cultural projects.
